Terms of use

Last updated, May 22, 2026

These Terms of Use (« Terms ») govern the use of the website ambyevent.fr (« the website » or « AMBY »). Accessing the website and using it implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms.

1. Purpose of the service

AMBY is a French B2B web platform that lists professional events and lets users search for them with structured criteria (city, sector, format, business goals, etc.). The service is free at launch, both for pros and organizers.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

Use of the website implies full acceptance of these Terms. Anyone who does not wish to accept them must refrain from using the site.

3. Account creation

Creating an account is free and gives access to extended features (event listing, full search access). By creating an account, the user agrees to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information at registration;
  • Keep their password confidential and not share it with third parties;
  • Notify the editor without delay of any unauthorized use of their account;
  • Update their information in case of change (email, structure, etc.).

4. Forbidden behaviors

The following behaviors are notably forbidden:

  • Posting fake, misleading, fraudulent or non-existent professional events;
  • Publishing content that is illegal, immoral or infringes third-party rights (defamation, counterfeit, privacy invasion);
  • Using the site for spam, mass commercial canvassing or any unauthorized scraping activity;
  • Creating multiple accounts or accounts under someone else's name;
  • Any attempt to bypass or compromise the site's security measures.

The editor reserves the right, without notice, to suspend or delete any account that does not comply with these Terms.

5. User-published content

Organizers are solely responsible for the content they publish on AMBY (event listings, descriptions, images, contacts). They warrant that they hold all the necessary rights on the content posted, and grant AMBY a non-exclusive license to use it for referencing purposes.

Every submitted event is manually reviewed by the AMBY team before publication. The editor reserves the right to refuse or remove any listing deemed non-compliant.

6. Intellectual property

The AMBY trademark, logo, visual identity, site structure and source code are the exclusive property of the editor. No reproduction is allowed without prior written agreement.

7. Liability

The editor makes every effort to ensure the availability and quality of the service, but cannot guarantee the absence of interruption or error. The editor cannot be held liable for damages resulting from the use of the site, the unavailability of the service, or content published by users.

8. Modification of the Terms

The editor reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of changes via the website. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Termination

The user may delete their account at any time by contacting the editor. The editor reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of breach of these Terms, without notice or compensation.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
